EVENT ATTENDEE AGREEMENT & DISCLAIMER
May 26-27, 2025 | Design Offices Hauptbahnhof, Berlin
Organized by The Pathwayz Group, LLC

By purchasing a ticket and attending the HR Leadership Pathwayz Conference 2025 (“Event”), you (“Attendee”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

 

1. LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
 

1.1 Assumption of Risk – Attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to participation, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, theft, property damage, or travel disruptions.

1.2 Release of Liability – The Organizer, its affiliates, staff, sponsors, partners, and venue hosts are not responsible for:

  • Any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in the Event.

  • Any loss of personal property during the Event.

  • Any decisions attendees make based on event discussions or materials.
     

1.3 Health & Safety Compliance – Attendees agree to follow all health and safety guidelines set by the venue and the Organizer, including any government-imposed regulations at the time of the Event.
 

1.4 Insurance Requirement – Attendees are responsible for obtaining their own health, travel, and liability insurance.

 

2. PRIVACY POLICY & MEDIA CONSENT
 

2.1 Data Collection & Use – Attendee information (name, title, company, contact details) will be used only for event-related purposes, including:
✔ Registration management and event communications.
✔ Post-event networking and follow-ups.
✔ Event marketing (with consent).

All data is processed in accordance with GDPR regulations.


2.2 Photography & Videography Consent – By attending, you:
📸 Acknowledge that the Organizer may capture photos/videos during the Event.
📸 Grant permission for your image, voice, or statements to be used in marketing, promotional materials, and social media.
📸 Waive any claims related to the use of your likeness in these materials.


Opt-Out Process – If you do not consent to photography or videography, you must notify the Organizer in writing before the Event.


2.3 Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure – While networking is encouraged, Attendees must respect confidentiality:

  • Do not share proprietary, sensitive, or confidential company information unless authorized.

  • The Organizer is not responsible for any unauthorized disclosures made by other attendees.

 

3. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY


3.1 Attendee Cancellations – Attendees can cancel for a full refund if notified 2 weeks before the event, a partial refund (50%) if canceled 1 week before the event.
 

3.2 Event Cancellation by Organizer – If the Event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (force majeure, government restrictions, etc.), tickets will not be refunded. However, if the Event is canceled due to low sales or factors within the Organizer’s control, attendees will receive a 100% refund.
 

Force Majeure Clause – The Organizer is not liable for delays, damages, or cancellation due to events beyond its control, including:

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, or emergencies.

  • Travel restrictions or airline disruptions.

  • Government-imposed regulations or shutdowns.

 

4. CODE OF CONDUCT & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
 

4.1 Expected Behavior – All attendees must:

  • Conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.

  • Adhere to all venue rules and regulations.

  • Respect speaker presentations, fellow attendees, and event staff.

  • Participate in discussions with constructive, inclusive dialogue.


4.2 Prohibited Conduct – The following behaviors will not be tolerated:
Harassment or Discrimination – This includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments, sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation, and discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
Disruptive Behavior – Intentional disruption of presentations, panels, networking sessions, or any event activity.
Unauthorized Recording & Streaming – No live streaming, video recording, or audio recording of event content is allowed without explicit permission.


4.3 Consequences of Violation – Attendees violating the Code of Conduct may be:
Asked to leave the event without a refund.
Banned from future events organized by The Pathwayz Group.
Subject to legal action if their conduct results in harm, defamation, or violation of intellectual property rights.

 

5. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
 

5.1 Jurisdiction – This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in Berlin, Germany.
5.2 Severability Clause – If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect.

 

ACKNOWLEDGMENT & CONSENT

By purchasing a ticket and attending the HR Leadership Pathwayz Summit 2025, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement. You further consent to the liability waiver, privacy policy, media release, and code of conduct outlined above.
